We were staying with Conny Andersson, a super-chef of Beverly Wilshire fame, in his new home at Sandy Lane, the luxury hotel where he's now in charge of four restaurants and several bars.

Barbado's yellow buses are a kick. As you bump along at break-neck speed, you're treated to ear-shattering Caribbean music.
One afternoon, Claire took us to the east side of the island, as well as to St. Nicholas Abbey, a Jacobean mansion, for a taste of the local rum.
And, once again, to Bridgetown, S'town, and Holetown.
